Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very fast service, showed up when they said they would. Service tech was Adam who was very honest, didn't try to upcharge or fix anything that wasn't broken. Different company installed undersized capacitors, Adam diagnosed quickly and replaced with proper capacitors at a fair price - will be using these guys every time from now on!

He was my second call because the first call to Carolina Cool did not fix my air conditioner and told me the part was $1500 to fix it when Adam came out he found that the problem wasn’t what Carolina Cool said. He fixed it within 20 minutes and I didn’t needed parts just a damaged wire. if you’re looking for somebody who is honest and reliable call Air Casablanca.

Local Heating Experts Who Know the Coast

Horry County winters might be mild compared to the north, but when temperatures drop, you want a heater that works without fail. Coastal humidity and salt air can take a toll on furnaces and heat pumps, causing unexpected breakdowns.

We live and work right here in Horry County. Our technicians arrive ready to diagnose the problem quickly and get your heat back on the same day. No upselling, no guesswork: just straightforward heating repair from a team you can trust.

Common Heating Problems We Solve in Horry County Homes

Whether your system is blowing cold air or won’t turn on, we handle the issues that leave you shivering.

Heat Pump is Not Heating

Heat pumps are popular here, but they can struggle in freezing weather. We check refrigerant levels, reversing valves, and defrost controls to restore warm air fast.

Furnace Blowing Cold Air

A gas or electric furnace that won’t produce heat is frustrating. We inspect ignition systems, gas valves, and thermostats to find the cause and fix it right.

Strange Noises from the Heater

Banging, squealing, or rattling often means a loose part or failing blower motor. We’ll diagnose the sound and repair it before a small issue becomes a costly breakdown.

Uneven Heating in Your Home

One room is warm while another feels like an icebox. We check ductwork, zoning issues, and system sizing to balance comfort throughout your house.

Frequent Cycling On and Off

Short cycling wears out your system and drives up energy bills. We pinpoint the root cause, whether it’s a dirty filter, faulty thermostat, or oversized equipment.

Emergency Heating Failures

Waking up to no heat on a chilly morning in Carolina Forest? We offer same‑day emergency repair to get your home warm again without waiting days for an appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers from the local experts who know your home’s heating needs.

My heat pump isn’t blowing warm air. Is it an emergency?

If temperatures are near or below freezing and your home is losing heat, call us right away. A heat pump that’s stuck in cooling mode or has a refrigerant leak can cause further damage if left running.

How long does a typical heating repair take?

Most repairs are completed within one to two hours. Our same‑day service means we diagnose and fix the issue quickly so you aren’t left waiting in a cold home in Conway or Surfside Beach.

Do you repair all types of heating systems?

Yes. Our technicians are trained on gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini‑split systems. Whatever heats your home in Horry County, we can help.

Why does my furnace smell when I first turn it on?

A light, dusty smell is normal after months of inactivity. If you smell rotten eggs (gas) or a strong burning odor, turn off the system and call us immediately. We’ll inspect for safety.

Can regular maintenance really prevent breakdowns?

Absolutely. In coastal areas like Myrtle Beach, corrosion and debris buildup are common. A yearly tune‑up catches small issues before they become expensive emergency repairs.
