Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very fast service, showed up when they said they would. Service tech was Adam who was very honest, didn't try to upcharge or fix anything that wasn't broken. Different company installed undersized capacitors, Adam diagnosed quickly and replaced with proper capacitors at a fair price - will be using these guys every time from now on!

Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common cooling questions from the local experts.

My AC is making a loud screeching noise. What's wrong?

That sound usually means a failing blower motor or a worn fan belt. In coastal areas like Surfside Beach and Garden City, salt air can accelerate wear on moving parts. Our technicians can diagnose the exact cause and replace the component before it fails completely.

How often should I have my AC serviced in this humid climate?

We recommend a tune‑up at least once a year, ideally in spring before the heavy cooling season starts. Homes in Carolina Forest and Conway with high humidity may benefit from a second check‑up to keep coils clean and drainage clear.

Can salt air really damage my AC unit?

Absolutely. Living near the ocean in places like North Myrtle Beach or Garden City exposes your outdoor unit to salt spray, which corrodes coils and electrical connections. We use corrosion‑resistant treatments and can help you choose equipment built for coastal conditions.

Why does my AC smell musty when it first turns on?

That musty odor is often mold or mildew in the ductwork or evaporator coil—a common issue in Myrtle Beach’s humid environment. We can inspect, clean, and recommend solutions to improve your indoor air quality.

Will a new AC really lower my electric bill?

Yes, especially if your current system is over 10 years old. Modern units are much more efficient. Many homeowners in Horry County see a noticeable drop in their utility bills after upgrading. We can show you estimated savings during a free consultation.
